Somebody I Love Died, Helping Children Cope With Death

Course Prerequisite:

This course is intended for adults who plan to mentor children survivors at a TAPS Good Grief Camp event. Taking this online course is encouraged but not mandatory.

Please note: This is NOT where you register to be a Good Grief Camp Mentor for children. If you are a servicemember and wish to register as a GGC Mentor for children, please register as a Good Grief Camp mentor for an upcoming Good Grief Camp Event.

Course Overview:

This program is designed to provide information concerning the developmental stages of a child’s understanding of death, the grief process and examine ways children express grief. It will also provide strategic interventions for helping children learn to cope with grief. It’s a MUST workshop for anyone who works or lives with children!
